Persona 4 - know your fate by y-o-s-s-i Persona 4 - know your fate by y-o-s-s-i
Resuming my Persona picture dump ;)

Although I'm sad that there are hardly any group pictures of our Velvet Room trio, I'm still very happy with the photos I got. The Leipzig Bookfair convention site is a fitting backdrop for these costumes and the lighting conditions were great, as well.

In this picture, you can see some of the tarot cards I made. When I uploaded this picture to another website, I got a lot of people questioning me about how many takes we needed to get that card trick right. But it's not a trick at all! It's far more simple (disappointingly so, even): I simply threaded the cards on a thin nylon thread with loops at both ends, which is pretty much invisible on most pictures. Hope this revelation didn't spoil it for you! XD

One more thing I like about this picture is that you can see the different fabrics I used. I had a hard time finding the right fabrics and ended up using quilted lining fabric, making this costume very thick and impossible to wear in summer. The texture looks great on pictures, though, so it's worth it.

Thank you very much! Margaret seems to be a bit underrated judging by how rare Margaret cosplays are...

Thank you!
I scanned the tarot card artworks from the artbook (you can find it on the internet, too, just google "persona tarot cards"), printed them out, glued both sides together and laminated them. It was quite easy, actually. If your question is about the "float trick": I simply threaded the cards on a thin nylon thread with loops at both ends, through which I put my hands.
