Here's another great picture by ~darkagesun. I have to admit that when he asked me to pose like this I was somewhat sceptical, because it felt so awkward, but -as usual with awkward feeling poses- it looks great in the final picture. It has a kinda evil-classic-vampire feel to it, what with the cape and the colours, don't you agree?

You're absolutely right, if you want to go beyond "simple" convention photography and truly portray a character, you should do some research beforehand.
